We knew this event would be a little different with Floyd Mayweather’s sports superstar and legendary status. IAM Events hosted this event alongside Goldstar Promotions. The tone for planning the event was set when we were told Mayweather’s private jet would be landing at the local airport!

Despite his superstar status, Mayweather was relaxed and personable, you could see this reflected in his demeanour towards the end of the interview when he moved from his seat far back to sit forward on the edge of the stage. He was relishing the crowd interaction and wanted to be nearer to the audience to really engage with them. Guests had the opportunity after the interview to have a once in a lifetime meet and greet with the boxing legend and get a photograph with him.
